The international nursesโ day was observed today across various departments/units of the hospital.
The event was commemorated with the recitation of ๐๐๐ โ๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ and ๐๐๐๐๐๐ฆ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ early this morning by representatives of the hospital administration, unit in-charges, doctors, nurses and other attendees in presence of the medical and nursing superintendents.
The hospital also invited three senior staff nurses who had recently superannuated, to celebrate their long and dedicated service to the hospital and the ๐ป๐๐- ๐พ๐- ๐บ๐๐.
The theme for this year was ๐๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ง๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐๐ฌ, ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐: ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐ง๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ง๐ฌ ๐๐๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐๐ฌ. The international nurses’ day is celebrated annually on May 12th, as it marks the birth anniversary of pioneer nurse, Florence Nightingale.
