Radiology unit consists of:
- 1 Radiologist
- 2 Radio Technologist
- 9 X-ray Technicians
- 1 nurse
- 1 support staff
Services
- Routine diagnostic CT services includes NECT (Brain, chest, limbs, traumatic whole abdomen, whole spine, KUB)
- CECT ( whole body including angiography, Urogram, triple or dual phasic whole abdomen)
- 24-hour emergency services (CVA, traumatic cases, PE, suspected bowel obstruction, etc.)
- Plain diagnostic radiography
- Special contrast study services such as HSG, barium studies for the GIT, fistulogram/sinogram, loopogram, etc.
- 24-hour services for emergency and urgent cases
- Diagnostic Ultrasonography includes:
- Whole abdomen
- MSK
- KUB
- HBS
- Neonatal Brain
- Eye/opthalmic sonography
- Superficial studies (Breast, thyroid, scrotum, parotid glands, etc…)
- Procedural Ultrasonography
- Ultrasound-guided biopsy
- Pleural effusion marking
- Doppler studies
- Arterial Doppler
- Venous Doppler
- Obstetrics and Gynecology ultrasound (allocated in MCH department)
