Radiology unit consists of:

  • 1 Radiologist
  • 2 Radio Technologist
  • 9 X-ray Technicians
  • 1 nurse
  • 1 support staff

Services

  • Routine diagnostic CT services includes NECT (Brain, chest, limbs, traumatic whole abdomen, whole spine, KUB)
  • CECT ( whole body including angiography, Urogram, triple or dual phasic whole abdomen)
  • 24-hour emergency services (CVA, traumatic cases, PE, suspected bowel obstruction, etc.)
  • Plain diagnostic radiography
  • Special contrast study services such as HSG, barium studies for the GIT, fistulogram/sinogram, loopogram, etc.
  • 24-hour services for emergency and urgent cases
  • Diagnostic Ultrasonography includes:
    • Whole abdomen
    • MSK
    • KUB
    • HBS
    • Neonatal Brain
    • Eye/opthalmic sonography
    • Superficial studies (Breast, thyroid, scrotum, parotid glands, etc…)
  • Procedural Ultrasonography
    • Ultrasound-guided biopsy
    • Pleural effusion marking
  • Doppler studies
    • Arterial Doppler
    • Venous Doppler
  • Obstetrics and Gynecology ultrasound (allocated in MCH department)
    • Pelvis
    • Fetal Anomaly scan

    • 24 hour emergency services (efast, scrotal torsion, PV bleeding)
