From January 21st to 23rd, 2025, the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) unit at the hospital conducted a comprehensive training session for support staff.
The training aimed to raise awareness on essential infection prevention and control practices, the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), medical waste management, occupational hazard management, and post-exposure prophylaxis. Staff were also encouraged to take advantage of prophylactic vaccinations to help prevent occupational hazards.
A total of 85 staff members participated in the training, including ward attendants, cleaners, laundry staff, cooks, security personnel, maintenance staff, and telephone operators.
