On 08 April 2025, nursing students from Royal Thimphu College those who are currently undertaking their internship at CRRH presented their POCQI projects. The presentations were evaluated by a panel comprising Mr. Amber Bdr Gurung (Nursing Superintendent), Dr. Nomina Pradhan (Orthopedic Surgeon), Dr. Jigme Yoezer (Head, Digital Health and Innovation Unit), Mrs. Kinley Chhimi (Gynae-Obs Ward In-charge), and Mr. Santa Tshering (QASD Focal Person).
Over a period of more than two months, the students implemented their quality improvement projects across various units of the hospital. These initiatives were carried out under the guidance of unit heads and assigned mentors, and were strategically aligned with the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) outlined in the Bhutan Healthcare Standard for Quality Assurance.
The outcomes of these initiatives are expected to contribute significantly to enhancing patient care and improving the overall quality of healthcare service delivery.
