Exciting progress in Bhutan! In September, World Telehealth Initiative’s ultrasound #education program at Central Regional Referral Hospital, Gelephu kicked off with trainings on pulmonary exams.
Through #telehealth, specialists from Orlando Health teach clinicians in Bhutan how to conduct essential #ultrasound examinations in real-time. 
World Telehealth Initiative donated an ultrasound probe that connects directly to our telehealth device at the hospital. This allows medical experts in Florida to view the live ultrasound feed while guiding and training the Bhutanese providers remotely.
This week, the focus shifted to cardiac ultrasound applications 
equipping providers in Bhutan with life-saving skills to enhance patient diagnosis and treatment.
