The Central Regional Referral Hospital Annual Report 2025 (CAR ’25) was launched yesterday, and on the same day, a copy of the report was respectfully submitted to Her Majesty the Gyalyum Sangay Choden Wangchuck during Her Majesty’s visit to the RENEW Centre in Gelephu. The report is dedicated to the 46th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty The King. The primary objective of the CAR series is to compile hospital-level statistics into a readily accessible format to inform hospital administrators and service providers about the status of healthcare delivery and to support improvements in the quality of services.
The ceremony began with the offering of prayers led by the Hospital Lama, followed by a presentation summarising CAR ’25. The preparation of the report was a team work involving all unit in-charges and members of the Editorial Committee. The annual report serves as a moment of reflection on our performance and a reaffirmation of our commitment to excellence in patient care and evidence-based practice. At a time when Gelephu Mindfulness City is taking shape, we remain steadfast in our efforts to continually improve the quality of care and to thrive and lead as healthcare providers.
The printing of this report was supported by the Royal Thimphu College (with its nursing education campus in Gelephu).
