His Excellency, the Health Minister, Lyonpo Tandin Wangchuk Visited the hospital and met with the staff of the hospital. His Excellency was accompanied by the Member of Parliament for the Gelephu Constituency and the Director of the Department of Clinical Services.
During the visit, His Excellency outlined the ministry’s plans to strengthen the country’s healthcare system and highlighted the ministry’s commitment to advancing healthcare in Gelephu Mindfulness City, in alignment with His Majesty’s vision. Furthermore, His Excellency encouraged everyone to work together toward achieving this shared goal.
Key concerns in healthcare, including the shortage of human resources in the healthcare sector, were also discussed.
The visit was attended by the Medical Superintendent, Nursing Superintendent, doctors, administrative representatives, and unit In-charges.
