The Promotion Ceremony at CRRH was a moment of pride, celebrating the dedication and hard work of our colleagues who have stepped into new roles with greater responsibilities. This year’s event was particularly special as it coincided with the 9th birth anniversary of His Royal Highness the Gyalsey, Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck.
The day began at 8:00 AM with a Lhabsang Thruesel and Sangay Menlha Tshokhor led by the Hospital Lama. At 12:00 PM, promotion recipients gathered at the Sangay Menlha Shrine, where they offered 108 butter lamps, seeking wisdom, strength, and guidance for the path ahead. The ceremony then moved to the main conference hall, where Zhabten and prayers were offered to His Royal Highness the Gyalsey, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony.
The celebrations continued with the presentation of Khadar and promotion orders by the Hospital Lama, marking the highlight of the event. A total of 42 staff members were promoted across various levels, including three executive-level promotions and a specialized staff nurse.
