Today, CRRH received six resident doctors from the Faculty of Post Graduate Medicine, Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan for a month-long clinical attachment.
The doctors are of the following specialities:
1. Emergency Medicine – 2
3. General Surgery – 1
4. Anesthesiology – 2
The main objective of this month-long attachment is to gain an insight on the functioning of a regional referral hospital, to get an exposure to clinical caseloads and the various levels of case management and to enhance their clinical skills. They will all be working under the supervision of their respective specialists.
The doctors, led by the Medical Superintendent, were given a brief orientation of the hospital and were introduced to the adjunct faculty members and the specialist.
