The event was commemorated with the recitation of hand early this morning by representatives of the hospital administration, unit in-charges, doctors, nurses and other attendees in presence of the medical and nursing superintendents.
The hospital also invited three senior staff nurses who had recently superannuated, to celebrate their long and dedicated service to the hospital.
The theme for this year was The international nurses’ day is celebrated annually on May 12th, as it marks the birth anniversary of pioneer nurse, Florence Nightingale.
