Coinciding with the auspicious day in the lunar calendar, CRRH organised a Medal Award Ceremony to honour the civil servants/health staffs under Sarpang Dzongkhag for their dedicated years of service, a priceless gift from His Majesty The King.
The day started at 8:30 AM with Lhabsang and Thruesel by the hospital Lam in the mini-conference hall of the CRRH. This was followed by offering prayers and lighting of butter lamp at the altar of Medicine Budddha.
Of the 45 medal recipients, Mr. Chabi Lal Darjee, Senior Malaria Technician of Norbuling PHC was awarded a Life Time Achievement Medal for serving the nation beyond 30 years. 10 received Gold Medals for their 30 years of service, 14 received Silver for 20 years of service and 20 bronze for 10 years of service.
The medals were awarded by the Hospital Lam along with Tashi Khadar. The Medical superintendent, Nursing Superintendent and various heads and unit in-charges of CRRH also attended the ceremony.
CRRH would like to congratulate all the recipients of the medals for their selfless dedication and wishes the continued success in serving the Tsa-wa-sum.
