Mr. Damber Gurung, Senior Ophthalmic Assistant, has successfully completed 34 years of dedicated service as a civil servant in service of Tsa-Wa-Sum.

‎He began his professional journey in 1991 at the then Thimphu General Hospital. In 1998, he was transferred to the then Gelephu General Hospital, where he served until 2005. From 2005 to 2008, he was posted at Lhuentse Hospital, before returning to the Central Regional Referral Hospital in 2008, where he continued to serve with distinction until his superannuation.

‎Beyond his professional role, Mr. Damber Gurung is a proud Desuup, selflessly volunteering in numerous activities. He has also actively participated in various GMC volunteer initiatives, further reflecting his unwavering spirit of service and commitment to the community.

‎As he superannuates from service, the hospital extends its deepest gratitude for his invaluable and selfless contributions to the nation. We wish him a happy, healthy, and deeply fulfilling retirement, filled with well-earned rest, joy, and new beginnings.
