โCabin Services at the Central Regional Referral Hospital were officially inaugurated today by the Medical Superintendent, Dr Choeda Gyaltshen, marking another milestone in strengthening inpatient services at the hospital.
โThe event began with a ๐ฟโ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐โ๐๐ข๐๐ ๐๐, purification ceremony of the cabin rooms, followed by offering of prayers, where Hospital ๐ฟ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ Sangay and Lam Penjor led prayers together with the Heads of Department and Unit In-charges, for the swift recovery of patients with compassionate and high-quality care.
โIn his remarks, Dr Choeda Gyaltshen shared that after a long wait due to staffing constraints, the launch of the cabin services marks an important milestone for CRRH as the hospital continues its journey toward becoming a center for healthcare excellence. He also assured his continued support for initiatives that strengthen hospital services and patient care.
โโSpeaking during the event, Dr Jigme Yoezer, Medical Officer shared that the cabins are expected to help optimize inpatient bed capacity and provide more comfortable and private environment for patients. Cabin services are part of the hospitalโs Complementary and Extended Health Services (CEHS) initiative โ which aims to strengthen the quality of care, improve patient satisfaction, and support the healthcare professionals through responsible and ethical service expansion.
โUnder the CEHS initiative at CRRH, the hospital will also soon roll out off-hour Special Consultation Services, allowing patients greater flexibility to seek care beyond regular working hours. The public is encouraged to keep an eye out for upcoming announcements on appointment bookings for these services.
