Engineering & Maintenance unit

The Engineering and Maintenance Unit is responsible for overseeing the infrastructure development works in the hospital.

 

The unit also provides engineering services to six other primary healthcare centers clubbed under Central Regional Re­ferral Hospital after the Health Transformation.

 

The unit consists of:

  • 1 civil engineer
  • 1 electrical en­gineer
  • 2 carpentry technicians
  • 4 plumbing tech­nicians
  • 4 electrical technicians
  • 4 HVAC techni­cians
  • 1 Fire Fighting and Fire alarm technician

 

Services

  • Operation and main­tenance of specialized systems such as Heating, Venti­lation and Air Conditioning Systems, Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm Systems, Medical Gas Systems, Generators, Boiler, Water Treatment Plant, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) system, Lift, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Electronic Private Automatic Branch Exchange (EPABX) system and Water Supply system.
  • Infrastructure development works at the hospital
  • Technical support services for 5 PHC and 1 Hospital under CRRH as and when required
