Management committee

In accordance with the Civil Service Rules, the hospital instituted a Human Resource Committee. The committee constitutes of ten members representing all the departments and units of the hospital. To make the committee representative of all categories of professionals in the hospital, three more members were taken in 2023. The committee members serve their term for two years.

The primary job of finance committee is to ensure proper utilization of hospital budget. The committee consists of eight members.

  • The Operation Theatre (OT) Committee plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient, safe, and organized functioning of the OT services in a hospital.
  • It was formed to address various operational, safety, and quality concerns related to surgical procedures, aiming to improve patient outcomes and provide a structured environment for surgical teams.
  • The clinical committee plays the role in maintaining high standards of patient care and continuous professional development.
  • The committee reviews referrals, reviews and organizes continuing medical Education (CME) activities, and reviews patient mortality cases to identify trends, causes and potential areas for improvement.
  • The goal is to ensure that patients receive the highest standard of care and prevent future medical errors.
  • The CRRH Staff Welfare Scheme is designed to provide financial and emotional support to staff members and their families during times of crisis or significant life events.
  • The scheme provides financial assistance during bereavement, supporting staff during transfers, assistance during personal or family health crises.

The committee manages the fund collected through contributions from staffs and analyzes the eligibility for the fund claim, and maintains the documentation of the claim process.

In order to ensure transparent and fair competition among the bidders and to the select the most suitable supplier or contractor for quality services, the hospital management initiates tendering processes through electronic Government Procurement System (e-GP), an online procurement process. However, on need-basis, the off-line procurement system is also followed.

  • Committee lead by chairman, secretary and 4 members, who are responsible for endorsing medical leave more than 1 month.
  • The committee meet as and when or every Friday after Mortality meeting.
  • This committee is responsible for reviewing and verifying medical leave requests, particularly for extended periods of leave (more than one month). Its role is to ensure that medical leave is granted only when there is an authentic and valid medical reason, and to maintain the integrity of the hospital’s leave policies.
  • For patient safety and quality improvement, the sentinel committee plays a crucial role in addressing and managing sentinel events.
  • The committee receives reports (for sentinel events like death due to negligence, wrong surgeries or severe physical/psychological harms due to medical errors), reviews and investigates it, manages the events, analysis of root cause, implementation of corrective actions, reporting and transparency and finally follows up and monitors.
  • This committee is designed to ensure that staff members have a formal mechanism to voice their grievances, which are then handled in a fair, systematic, and transparent manner.
  • By investigating grievances, offering resolutions, and maintaining a focus on fairness and confidentiality, the committee fosters a positive, respectful, and productive work environment, ultimately benefiting both staff and patients.
