Medical record

The functions of the Medical Record Unit includes main­taining patient records, reporting of data to the District Health Information System (DHIS 2) ensuring accurate documentation for patient care, research, and quality improvement initiatives. The unit collaborates with the Quality Assurance Unit to coordinate the weekly mor­tality review meeting and provides a feedback report to the referring health centers.

The unit consists of:

  • 3 Medical Record Technicians.
